Natalie and Zach’s summer Central Park elopement is one I will remember for a long time. From their ceremony tucked into a remote area of the park to the busy streets of the Upper West Side, it was a typical movie-like NYC elopement; one I was so grateful to photograph. People congratulated them left to right and they were definitely the stars of the day!
They decided to exchange their vows in a little nook with a view on the lake. They were heartfelt, personal and made me tear up behind the camera. After the ceremony, we stopped by Bow Bridge and headed to the Bethesda Terrace. It is always a favorite of mine. Hidden from the direct sun, it is always lit in interesting and more subtle ways than the rest of the park.
On our exit, we couldn’t help but take some last pictures on Central Park West, enjoying the company of typical NYC ice cream trucks and yellow cabs. I always love giving a city vibe to wedding photos when given the possibility. What was super fun was that Natalie and Zach brought the best props for their Central Park elopement; champagne, cigars, sunglasses and balloons, they totally came prepared!
