It always amazes me when couples tell me they’ve been together since high school – especially in New York. At 25, Erin and Michael have already been together for a decade; and decided to do a Fall couple photoshoot in Cobble Hill Brooklyn to mark their engagement and 10-year anniversary.
A New Brooklyn Couple
Erin and Michael are originally from Maryland. They moved to NY at the end of 2019, to pursue their dream jobs in the media industry. Unfortunately the pandemic hit shortly after, which kinda cut their NY experience short. Like everyone else, they can’t wait for things to get back to normal and start living their Brooklyn life to the fullest.
They were supposed to get married in 2020, but like many couples had to reschedule their wedding. Instead of being sad about it though they decided to make the best of it; and shoot their engagement photos in their new neighborhood as a little glimpse into their life.
Taking Engagement Photos in Cobble Hill in the Fall
We walked around Cobble Hill and shot in front of the best photo spots: cute brownstones, a subway entrance and an old cinema, amongst others. It was peak Autumn foliage which gave us a warm feel with various shades of yellow, orange and leftover greenery.
It was a typical Fall couple photoshoot in Cobble Hill Brooklyn, with lots of fun, laughter and candid moments.
