A Golden Hour Maternity Session in Prospect Park

It’s always special to me when first time parents trust me enough to capture this major milestone of their lives. So when Deborah hit me up for a maternity session in Prospect Park, I was obviously in right away. I love meeting expecting couples and get to know their story!

Deborah and Sean got married 2 years ago. They currently live in the Greenwich Village but are looking for their new home in Park Slope for them and their little one. I thought it would be cool to do their shoot in their new neighborhood, right where the new chapter of their story begins.

Starting our Maternity Session at Home

We started with some indoor shots to have enough privacy to photograph her cute baby bump. Indoor maternity shots tend to be more intimate, whereas outdoor ones are usually more on the fun side; I will most likely have you hop, twirl or lay in the grass. You are never 100% safe from what my brain is inspired by haha.

A Golden Hour Photoshoot in Prospect Park

When the sun started to go down we headed to Prospect Park for the rest of our maternity session. We were blessed with a nice golden hour which is always a plus to highlight pregnancy glow. Nice sun flares showcased Deborah as the real pregnant goddess that she was 🙂
