As a Brooklyn wedding photographer, I had the pleasure of capturing the love story of Kaitlin and Nate. From the stunning Dumbo backdrops by the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge to the heartfelt ceremony and reception at Frankies Spuntino, their wedding was a perfect blend of elegance, style, and pure joy.
Setting the Scene in Dumbo
For Kaitlin and Nate’s first look, we ventured in Dumbo, just steps away from the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge. The picturesque location provided a breathtaking backdrop for their bride and groom photos, with both the NYC skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge. There, we met their families and bridal party before heading to their Brooklyn wedding venue.
A Stylish Bride and Groom
As true Brooklynites, Kaitlin and Nate were effortlessly stylish. The bride looked breathtaking in her Alexandra Grecco dress, which perfectly complemented the timeless atmosphere of their wedding. Nate exuded contemporary sophistication in his outfit from Aime Leon Dore. Their fashion choices showcased their individuality while harmoniously blending with the unique Brooklyn vibe.
Ceremony and Reception at Frankies Spuntino
Following their intimate bride and groom photo session, Kaitlin and Nate celebrated their union at the the restaurant Frankies Spuntino. The warm and rustic ambiance of the venue provided the perfect backdrop for their ceremony. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, the couple exchanged vows and shared their love story; a moment filled with laughter, joy, and memorable anecdotes.
After the cocktail hour in the patio of the restaurant, everyone enjoyed some delicious, hearty Italian food; followed by untraditional first dances that made everyone in the audience laugh out loud. Let’s say, the groom had some serious dance moves as well as the father of the bride 🙂
