Jessica and Jess live in Tribeca and really wanted to have their engagement photo session there, showing me the streets they walk in on a daily basis. I always love when couples take me on a tour of their hood and make me discover parts of town I don’t necessarily know! I recently had an in home maternity shoot in Tribeca and thought I’d love to be back to photograph a couple there. So when Jessica contacted me, it felt like it was meant to be.
Pizza Couple Photos are Always a Good Idea
We walked around the little alleys and to their favorite spots, like the Cafeteria Odeon. Then took a little pizza break (my favorite!) before heading to the Roxy Hotel. That spot was such a cool background for their engagement photos! Between the string lights and the vintage cinema sign, we really took advantage of that space and even did some funny twerking there. (I have yet to figure out how to include a GIF in those blog posts!)
A Photoshoot From Manhattan to Brooklyn
We ended the day by taking the subway and heading to Dumbo. We took some photos by the waterfront and Jane’s carousel, where I practiced my prism skills haha. After all these years I became quite familiar with that area; but I really didn’t know Tribeca so much and truly enjoyed this location for an engagement photo session. I can’t wait to be back!
