Oh boy. Loren and Bobby’s Hudson Valley wedding at Red Maple Vineyard was unforgettable for so many reasons. First, the love they have for each other is one of those things you see in movies. When they were getting ready separately, all they wanted to do was to rush to the ceremony to be reunited and get hitched. They were like magnets.

Secondly, Red Maple is where my husband and I got married back in 2018; so it was super special to be back, on the side of vendors this time. Between its majestic landscapes and the amazing staff, this place really has something magical. May I say, Red Maple Vineyard is probably my favorite wedding venue in the Hudson Valley. Years later, our guests still talk about it!
While Bobby was with his groomsmen at a hotel, Loren got ready at her mother’s home in Poughkeepsie, right in front of their church. She was just giddy with excitement and her smile was contagious. She did a first look with her bridesmaids when walking down the stairs, and the look and their faces was priceless!
Even more amazing was Bobby’s face when Loren walked down the aisle. Stunned would be an understatement. All the guests were pretty much holding their breath until Loren’s dad gave her away to an emotional Bobby.
Bride and Groom Portraits in Nature
After an epic bubble exit from the church, we all made our way towards Red Maple. Our bridal party photos were so fun and lighthearted; rarely have I seen a group of people so excited to marry their friends.
Loren, Bobby and I sneaked out on top of the hill side for some bride & groom portraits in the field, before joining everyone for the cocktail hour and the reception. The tall grass and the swing hanging from a giant tree were the perfect backdrops. Like most couples they really wanted to enjoy time with their guests; so I kept their photo time short and sweet to let them be present in the moment!
